Extremely consistent plant size make for a uniform crop that scapes out and matures all on a schedule of its own. Silver sheen, broad broad stems, make me think of the glory days of Carpathian garlic. Looks like a Rocambole that had one Porcelain grandparent (not how the math works but you get the idea!) Named for the old pronunciation of the word that became Latin Tarsis for which the Martian mountain is named- a mythical place to the west that is full of minerals and metallic wealth. With garlic’s nutrient powerhouse status, the name holds true.
